I have well water, sometimes it tastes bad cause of iron. Can I use my ro/di unit for drinking?

Can I use the ro/di unit that filters water for my saltwater fish tank? It never touches anything fish related.... Sometimes our water tastes terrible because it has high iron, but ive tasted my ro/di water and it tastes pretty good lol, im just wondering if its okay to drinkpure ro/di water just when the water is gross
