How do I stop Birds pooping in Pool?

Birds are pooping in the pool every day!. I have 20 or more poops in the pool everyday. It is gross. What is going on? Will birdbaths help? I put a fake snake on the the side of the pool and a fake owl up, but they just pooparound them.
