Please help! Minecraft Connection Problems!!!!?

soo... I disconnected from the server today to stop some lag, and when i went to connect back it gave me some error. So I kept trying to reconnect and the same thing happened so i restarted my computer and tried connecting through the minecraft launcher and i couldent connect from their either. It says i cant connect to minecraft.net could this be some problems with minecraft as a whole like a server crash?? Then i tried going to minecraft.net and i cant even open their webpage!!! Can you please let me know if theres anything you can do about this its really getting annoying!
