Sims 3 game question!!!!!?

I just updated the Sims 3 Late Night, but after I updated it, it said "Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Please Update your game via the game launcher". I tried everything I know, and looked for every possible way to try to find a new update, like it said, but nothing. Also, before I updated it, it was working perfectly!!!! I even uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and it didn't work :l Please help!!!
