Sims 3 game wont start! Help!?

I just updated my game launcher and the game and now its saying 'Service initialization failed (0x065d0274)'. It was working yesterday! I tried everything on the site help ( http://help.thesims.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5151/kw/service%20initalization%20failed ) but that didn't do anything! What should I do now? This is a fairly new game. I have no expansions and I'm running it without custom content.
