Do I have to retake chemistry and biology again in college if you had already earn the credit in high school?
I am a high school freshman. I love science and math. I am planning to become a cardiac surgeon when I am 30s. The medical school requires at least 1 year of biology, chemistry and organic chemistry. In my current high school, they offer AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics and AP Calculus AB. My question is: should I take the chemistry, biology or physics(maybe) again in college since the medical school requires 1 year of all these classes in college. Can I replace these classes with my AP classes(assume that I all got 5 on my AP exam)? Does anyone have any idea or experience?
