Do I have a virus or something more serious?

last night I had a fever of 100.3F and my body ached all over. I also have 3 canker sores in my mouth and more and more of these skin abscesses keep appearing all over my body. They are on my head, scalp, back, stomach etc. At first I was showing all of the symptoms of herpes simplex 1 however, that does night explain these gross boils all over my body. Is there more serious than a virus or will it just go away on it's own??
