Sims 3 Launcher Has Stopped Working?

Every time I try to open Sims 3 it say that Sims 3 Launcher Has Stopped Working and When I try to system restore it says System Restore did not complete successfully and is there a way i can reinstall it or something and it not letting me install custom content because it says something about the original pattern or something how do i fix this
