My Sims3 Launcher won't start up?

I haven't done anything unusual to my game(no mods, i have custom content but this has never happened before) and suddenly the launcher refuses to start up...I do not get an error message, nothing happens at all when i click the icon. Is there a way to fix it, and if not is there a separate way to get to the launcher?
